If you've ever used the 'reset campaign' button in campaign builder you may have noticed it doesn't quite do what it says on the tin. Now it actually does reset the campaign!
Is that triggered email active? Which variant is active? All of them? Some of them?
You mean I have to click on the email I'm interested in from the list? Yes
Then if there's multiple variants click on each of them to see if they're active too? Yes
That's what we in the business call a great user experience. Oh wait, no, the opposite of that!
We've added a new column into the email list that informs you what's active, inactive or partially active.
We removed the initials field in the last release but unfortunately changing the first name was still trying to set it!
Fixed the bug.
We have exposed the date of birth and country fields on the Personal Details page.
If you are using a RADAR preference centre for your emails it can be viewed directly from this section.
Just ask your friendly account manager for this feature to be switched on.
What do you do when ten tags just aren't enough?
Add ten more of course.
Simple. The first twenty tags from your email campaign can now be used in all future emails.
Cast your mind back to March 2020 and release 3.118.0. Simpler times!
Anyway, we added a lovely little check box into the campaign builder screen so you could hide those pesky
automatically generated suppressions.
That option should also be reflected when you go to the suppressions page itself don't you think?
We thought so too. Now it does!
We're no longer showing deleted users or seeds in this list.
For some time now you've been able to use the HTML from an old email campaign.
These campaigns are presented in a list which now includes a date sent column.
Yeah, that's not gonna work.
It turns out if you add a control cell and then remove it those individuals are not added back into the count. Oops!
We fixed it. Let's move on and never speak of it again.
If you clone a campaign that doesn't have any criteria applied and then add criteria to that new campaign the criteria is effectively ignored and the count won't change.
We fixed that one too. As above.
If you use the Optin Monster integration you can now optionally send a follow-up email when we receive a submission.
Just select an email from the list of triggered emails.
Any data items from the Optin Monster submission can be used in the email.
Have you ever wondered how many suppressions have already been applied when building a campaign?
This information is available but you have to do some clicking. How tiresome!
Now you can see the number of applied suppressions on the 'modify suppressions' button.
We fixed a thing that was causing an issue in a place. What, you want more details?
If you use RADAR's triggered email section then you can optionally have Google UTM tags appended to specific types of links. Unfortunately once this feature was turned on the tags would always be appended even if the values hadn't been set. This resulted in a place holder value being added to the affected links. This place holder value means nothing to Google Analytics!
We've changed the way the thumbnail images are generated for each variant. We're now using the power of the cloud.
Some general style issues have been addressed.
There's now an option to append the minonymised version of the RADAR ID to links in your email campaigns. This special tag is useful if you want to know who has landed on your site using one of those links.
Just ask your friendly RADAR administrator to enable this feature for you.
The RADAR API has a new telephony endpoint.
This can be used to trigger a screen pop when we've integrated into your hosted telephone service. Pure filth!
Have you ever tried to upgrade an email campaign and have it fail?
Have you ever wanted to just get on and not have to wait for the email to upgrade?
Have you ever wished someone would get to the point already?
Now you can do all of the above. We now upgrade the email campaign in the background.
This allows you to start building your email straight away.
We also prevent you from sending any tests until the upgrade has completed.
Lots of small improvements!
We've redesigned triggered emails to bring the section inline with other parts of RADAR.
Yes, you heard that right. You can now create multiple variants of the same triggered email!
Every campaign you create will have a suppression counterpart.
This is useful when you are creating multiple campaigns and you need to exclude people from earlier ones.
If you're not doing a lot of this then the list of suppressions in the campaign buidler screen can become overwhelming.
We've added a handy little check box - hide 'automatically generated' suppressions. This setting will persist too!
Have you ever tried filtering a check box in the report preview?
That's never really worked, until now!
Ring a ding ding, some telephony enhancements.
Some love has been applied.
We've fixed an issue with the auto-generated plaintext version.
A bit of spit and polish!
Some special characters were too special! We've given them a damn good seeing to. In other words we've fixed the encoding.
If you load a saved crosstab you can't re-save it. We've fixed that now.
Yep, you guessed it. Themes-a-go-go!
We've made some of our back-end processes more efficient and speedier. Ain't it great to be alive!
